Today, on Monday, February 10, 2025, at precisely 12:30 PM in the Faculty Council Hall, the Faculty Council held its session for February 2025 under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Hamdy Ebrahim Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Hamdan Ebrahim Mahmoud, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Dr. Mohy El-Din Mohamed Abd El Azim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Engineer Abd El Basset Abd El Naeem, Ministry of Supply Representative, Engineer Mohamed Abd El Rahman Mahmoud, Ministry of Agriculture Representative, heads of scientific departments, substitute professors, assistant professors, and lecturers.
At the beginning of the session, Professor Dr. Hamdi Ebrahim Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty, conveyed greetings from His Excellency Professor Dr. Essam El-Din Sadek Farhat, the University President, to all attendees, commencing the session with a set of key points, including:
Expressing gratitude to all heads and members of the controls at the four levels for completing the controls and announcing the results.
Thanking Professor Dr. Mohamed Sameer Fouad, the acting professor for the Plant Protection Department, and Professor Dr. Hassan Abdullah, the acting professor for the Animal Production Department, for the completion of their membership terms on the Faculty Council.
Welcoming Dr. Asmaa Salah Ezzat as she joins the Faculty Council representing assistant professors at the faculty.
Reviewing the report on lifting the academic courses for the second semester on the university platform.
Reviewing the students' distribution in various academic programs at the faculty and specifying the number of students enrolled in each of these programs.
Announcing the organization of an environmental week at the faculty.
Following that, the council proceeded to discuss the agenda items related to the Quality Assurance Unit, Education and Student Affairs, Postgraduate Studies, Community Service, and Environmental Development.
