Today, a meeting of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee was held at the Faculty of Agriculture, chaired by Professor Dr. Hamdy Ebrahim Mahmoud, the Dean of the Faculty. The meeting, attended by Professor Dr. Hamdan Ebrahim Mahmoud, the Faculty's Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Ali El-Toukhy, the Unit Director, and other members, covered various topics concerning occupational health and safety. These included initiating emergency drills, establishing a committee to inspect fire extinguishers for functionality, installing alert systems in labs and classrooms, conducting thorough maintenance of electrical switches within the facilities, nominating staff for safety training, hosting an educational seminar on occupational health and safety, and formulating an evacuation plan.
